Our estate vineyards are planted with 75 acres of Merlot in a variety of exposures and soil type – all on the warmer, more inland hillsides of the region – giving winemaker Jeff Stewart a rich palette of flavors from which to choose. An impressive example of Carneros fruit, the Carneros Merlot is well balanced, full–bodied and packed with pomegranate and chocolate. Multiple layers unfold with each sip and round, smooth tannins promise great aging potential.
